Thankfulness

Thankfulness isn’t a platitude. It’s a discipline. Practice it like any martial art, use it like any weapon, repeat it like any workout. Use it to survive in dire circumstances. Use it to thrive in good times. Practiced often to discover what you value and see what God is doing. Ignore it and lose your perspective to waves of constant difficulty and distraction.

It is the very gateway to the presence of God.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.

Psalms 100:4‭-‬5 ESV
